An ongoing archaeological dig at Caherconnell Stone Fort in the Burren has unearthed possibly the oldest Irish remains ever found. The incomplete skeleton, named Pauleen, which included a complete skull, was discovered this week by archaeologists working for TVAS Ireland, NUI Galway and volunteers.
